Sonoran Painted Sketches #9

‘Sonoran Painted Sketches’ is a series of paintings that come straight from my time in the Sonoran Desert. Each one is a quick capture—light, sky, land—without overthinking, just letting the paint lead. The desert is always shifting, always surprising. One moment, it’s still and quiet; the next, a storm is rolling in, or the sky is burning with last light. 

 

These aren’t exact places, but they hold the feeling of the land and sky, the way it lingers in memory.
