Shaman's Basket II

'Shaman's Basket II' continues my exploration of Native American spirituality, drawing from the time I spent immersed in the traditions of a Northwest tribe. This piece embodies the ceremonial and symbolic richness I’ve encountered through pow wows, sweat lodges, and the study of ancient practices. My artistic approach is spontaneous and intuitive, much like the spiritual journeys that inspire it. In this work, the shaman’s basket becomes a vessel for sacred energy, interwoven with the wisdom of generations and the healing power of the earth. It’s a visual tribute to the depth and beauty of indigenous culture.
